MyAmici and My Green Lab announce collaboration to support more sustainable lab purchasing

UNITED KINGDOM, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Integration underway will bring My Green Lab^® ACT^® Ecolabel data into MyAmici’s multi-supplier procurement platform as an ACT Ecolabel Channel Partner, helping life-science labs consider environmental impact alongside price and availability along with other purchasing solutions to aid sustainability.

LONDON and SAN DIEGO, 1 September 2026 — MyAmici, the intelligent LabOps platform for biotech and life-science organizations, has entered into a new collaboration and sponsorship agreement with My Green Lab, a global non-profit organization working to build a culture of sustainability in science.

At the center of the relationship is the integration of My Green Lab’s ACT Ecolabel product certification data into the MyAmici purchasing experience. As an ACT Ecolabel Channel Partner, MyAmici customers will be able to see third-party-verified environmental information for participating laboratory products while searching and comparing items across supplier catalogues. The integration is also intended to enable users to filter for ACT-certified products and to report on sustainable purchasing activity. This will allow procurement teams and scientists to consider sustainability alongside price and availability without leaving their normal purchasing workflow.

The ACT Ecolabel provides a standardized, science-based assessment of the environmental impact of laboratory products, including consumables, chemicals, reagents, PPE, and equipment. The ACT Ecolabel product-level information can support more informed purchasing decisions and organizations’ wider sustainable-procurement and Scope 3 carbon-reduction goals.

The collaboration addresses a practical challenge for life-science organizations: sustainability information often sits outside the systems used to source and buy laboratory products. Bringing ACT data into MyAmici’s consolidated marketplace is intended to make that information easier to find, compare, and use at the point of decision.

The ACT Ecolabel Certification Program was created to provide clear, third-party verified product sustainability information across numerous categories.
